What makes Happy Time such an
enriching environment?
- Our child-centered approach takes advantage of children's innate
ability to create their own curriculum, learning through play.
A theme centered curriculum planned and administered by the Director/Teacher,
enhances the many choices children have during the day.
- Our 1-5 ratio of adults to children (compared with 1 to 12 at
most schools) provides plenty of adult assistance and offers the
children many more choices in materials and play spaces.
- Research shows: parent involvement results in better academic
performance, fewer discipline problems and other long term advantages.
- Parent involvement and our family friendly environment and program
also alleviates the anxiety children often feel as they begin
school, so they are more emotionally receptive to learning.
